Þann 12. desember verður haldið góðgerðarkvöld í Fíladelfíu. Þetta er þriðja árið í röð sem svona kvöld er haldið og hafa þau verið afar vel heppnuð. Auðvitað verður frábær jólastemning, með föndri, tónlistaratriðum, smákökum, kakó og þess háttar gleði.

Aðalmál kvöldsins er þó góðgerðarhlutinn. Við munum útbúa gjafapakka sem þátttakendur munu í kjölfarið gefa til þeirra sem þeir vita af og hafa þörf fyrir aðstoð. Þannig er þekking fólksins nýtt til að koma hjálp til þeirra sem á þurfa að halda en myndu hugsanlega ekki leita sér hjálpar sjálf. Það er einstaklega góð tilfinning að geta gefið og við viljum hvetja sem flesta til að vera með á þessu yndislega kvöldi. Kostnaður er enginn fyrir þátttakendur.

Kvöldið byrjar klukkan 18:00 og endar um klukkan 20:00

On December 12th we are organizing a charity event here in Filadelfia. This will be for the third year running and the past two times were great successes. In the spirit of Christmas there'll be musical performances of christmas songs, we'll serve cookies and hot choccolate and spread christmas cheer in every way we can think of.

The most important aspect of the evening is the charity part. Everyone participating will get to prepare a christmas care-package which they can then give to somone in need of encouragement as christmas approaches. In that way  the knowledge and networks we collectively posses are used to reach those that wouldn's ask for anything, but could do with some blessing. It is a great joy to be able to give and to bless, we encourage all those who are able to participate, participation is free of charge.

We start at 18:00 and we end at 20:00
