Young adults
FÃló + (Young Adult) is our ministry for young adults in secondary high school and university age groups. The ministry consists of:
Wednesday meetings
We meet in the cafeteria on the second floor on the second
and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 20:00 (8 PM).
At these meetings, we discuss issues that are important to young adults. We emphasize building a good foundation and exploring the gifts and abilities of each participant. At every meeting, we do something fun like eat together e.g., eat together, go to the movies, play board games, go ice skating, etc.
Worship nights
Every Sunday at 20:00 we have a worship night in the side auditorium. The meetings are organized by FÃló+ and the service is designed with young adults in mind but all are welcome to attend.
Home groups
A few home groups are made up of FÃló+ young adults with no more than 12 participants. Home groups meet most often at people's homes every other week. The groups are a great opportunity to get to know people better, pray together, etc. Most groups work together on projects e.g., in connection with relief work, missions
Cozy Conference (Kósýmót)
Every first weekend in February is the so-called Cozy Conference. It takes place at Kirkjulækjarkoti in FljósthlÃð in the same conference place for the Pentecostal Church in Iceland. The meeting is as is says, 'cozy', and has been popular year after year.
